Game Rules

Effective October 17, 2026

SodaStudios is meant to be a fair, fun recreation of Coke Studios. These rules exist to keep the economy honest for everyone. They apply together with our Terms of Service. Breaking them can cost you items, decibels or your account. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask a moderator first through the SodaStudios Discord server (message a moderator, or use the help and report channels), or the in-game help report.

1. No value transfers between your own accounts

Alternate accounts (any accounts controlled by the same person) may not trade, gift or transfer any value — items or decibels (dB) — between one another, whether directly or indirectly through other players or accounts.

2. Trades must be fair and reciprocal

Multi-step trades, middleman transactions, and unreciprocated "trust" trades are not allowed. We use catalog price values to work out whether a trade is fair. Both sides of a trade should be of roughly equivalent value.

3. No rigging minigames

Coordinating match outcomes, feeding wins, or otherwise manipulating minigames to farm win streaks or rewards is not allowed. Play games to play them, not to launder rewards.

4. Household (same-home) players

More than one real person in the same household may play and trade with each other, but only if every exchange is of equivalent market value (a fair trade based on catalog prices). Same-home accounts may not be used to funnel value onto one person.

5. No parking or hoarding to inflate value

Alternate accounts may not be used to park (store) or hoard items in order to artificially inflate an individual account's value — for example, to manufacture artificial "rares".

6. No macros, scripts or automation

Using macros, scripts, bots or any automation — especially on alternate accounts — to passively farm decibels or items (including gold or platinum CDs) is not allowed.

7. Keep your account yours

Do not let other people log into or access your account to boost your stats or farm rewards on your behalf, and do not do this on anyone else's account.

8. Enforcement across related accounts

Any violation that leads to action against one account may be applied to all alternate and related accounts (including accounts sharing a device or network). Action can include removing items and decibels, reversing trades, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban.
